 Monitors Wafra Joint Operations (WJO) projects from concept to execution & commissioning phases to ensure conformance to requirements.
 Coordinating, monitoring and controlling the execution of projects on KGOC sole account from inception to completion and carry out other assigned activities related to the Department.
 Preparation & Review of Project Proposals, Budget Proposal, Authorised for Expenditure(AFE), Decision Support Package (DSP), Project Gate System (PGS) conceptual studies initiated by WJO including scope, feasibility studies, technical packages, assessment of process parameters etc.
 Reviews of Design Basis Memorandum (DBM), guidelines for modifying existing facilities, conceptual design, pre-engineering, Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Engineering Designs, Scoping Notice, EIA, SHEER, HAZOP etc.
 Review of RCA (Root Cause Analysis), Sensitivity Analysis, Economics of the Projects & Proposals.
 Review of tender documents, Contract documents including technical and contractual scope of work for projects, Project Management Plan (PMP), execution plan & schedule etc., and provides engineering and management inputs.
 Execution and monitoring progress of projects execution in WJO to ensure compliance with KGOC standards and requirements.
 Review of contract variation orders, disputes and claims in liaison with Contract and Legal Departments.
 Facilities assessments, condition assessments of KGOC facilities such as pipeline to Mina Abdullah (MAB) and Mina Ahmadi (MAA) refineries etc.
 Special studies regarding optimal utilization of equipment and process facilities to identify constrains and recommends corrective actions or suggests alternatives to improve equipment & facility efficiency.

Project Engineer at LAMPRELL

  Project Management of the major New Build RIGs, PUQ/Well Head and Refurbishments subcontracted works for hull, Jackets, Riser, Living Quarters, Drill floor, HVAC, Marine Instrumentation, Communication, safety, Water Sprinkler, CO2 system which includes allied activities like fabrication, installation, commissioning and delivery.
 Leading the Project for PUQ fabrication includes PUQ and Well head structures (primary, secondary etc.) for Offshore Platforms.
 Reviewing and monitoring the FEED, Design Document, Deliverable Index, Project Schedule, VDRL, Method Statements, Procurement Register, FAT, ITP, S curve, Progress Report, QA/QC plan, HSE Statistics & Report of the Project.
 Primarily responsible to drive the team in line with the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and to ensure Project deliverables like design documents, drawings, ABS / statutory approvals, ITPs, MARs, as built dossier and day to day project execution &, site co-ordination for construction, commissioning and final delivery/hand over the project to the client.
 Follow ups for project progress milestone and project deliverables is managed in line with the project schedule for subcontract scope of works.
 Initiating & leading the project activities by arranging kick off meeting, weekly EPC contractor & subcontractor meeting and specific issue based meeting with subcontractors and different disciplines like Engineering, QC, production, structural, piping, commissioning, clients, ABS etc.
 Supervision of the fabrication, installation, complete constructions and mechanical completion, pre commissioning, commissioning and hand over the project to client/operation group.
 Liaise with EPC contractor, Consultants and various discipline regarding project related issues and keep the stakeholders and management updated on project progress.
 Lead the project management team for completion of projects within schedule and in budget.
 Responsible to carry out the subcontract activities in line with the project scope requirement and compliance to IMO/ILO/SOLAS/HABATABILITY/ABS rules/class.
 Ensure adherence to QA and HSE policies and procedures by all the construction crew and the operation crew on job.
 Compliance to requirements of technical, commercial & contractual, scope creep and if any additional requirement is managed as and when arises. The complete co-ordination from mobilisation to site by contractor till demobilisation after the project completion.
 Decide the change control and variation from the scope base line of the contract and initiate necessary appropriate action for approval.
 Responsible to drive to close out the recommissioning, Commissioning, Punch list, RFI, CF, advise/comments pertaining to the contractor works.

 Conceptualization, business case, design & assist to prepare RFQ/BOQ/BOM/MTO, review & evaluation of Techno Commercial bid (TBE/CBE) of Capital Budget Project requirements.
 Finalization and selection of BIDs for major capital projects. Taking approval of the Budget and appropriation request from the management with justification in line with Organization’s Startegic Objectives.
 Technical support for finalization of FEED, review of specification & drawing as per Contract & FEED terms of reference.
 Review of design documents like plot plan, location drawing, GA, isometrics, P&ID, SLD, installation diagram, datasheet, document register (VDRS/VDL), & analysis of the commercial offers in line with RFQ, proposals along with vendor meeting for job specific requirements.
 Preparation of contract scope matrix, PO related modalities all in ERP-Enterprise Resource & Planning (J D EDWARD MODULE).
 Raising TQ (Technical Query) as and when required based on the specification and operational needfor different system against the design and engineering.
 Finalization of requirements and specifications in consultation with common industries/ vendors / collaborators / promoters as well as project monitoring & scheduling based on WBS (CPM, BAR CHART, HISTOGRAM) including material & manpower planning and logistics.
 Managing the EPC contractors deputed for the project work and as well as the PMT (Project Management Team). Also interfacing with the client, vendor, 3rd party and the important stake holders.
 Major contribution to PEP (Project Execution Plan), monitoring the Critical Path and the process work pack as per the WBS and initiate and co-ordinate applicable action required from different stake holders.
 Analyse the budget variance/cost variance/performance variance (CPI/SPI) and highlight to the management and control the parameters and limits to achieve the project objective.
 Play a key role to support for preparation of SIL, HAZID, HAZOP analysis. Also being represented as MR for getting ISO 9001/14001 & OHSAS 18001.
 Review the overall EPC contractor project execution plan to verify its completeness and ensure it is compatible with the project master schedule in accordance with the project milestones.
 Monitor EPC contractor's performance against its schedule, program, deliverables and milestones and identify corrective actions as may be required
 Have primary responsibility for Risk Management including reviewing EPC contractor schedule risk management reports and providing an independent risk management analysis if required.
 Commissioning of mechanical equipment/machines both Static and Rotating equipment like Pumps, Compressor systems, VFD, loading bays, Tank farm management system, etc.
 Pipeline commissioning & hookups in brown field both upstream and downstream. Close coordination with industries & refinery for Pipeline Transfer/receipt (PLT). Repair, troubleshooting and modification activities for all such facilities.
 Materials verification as per Material Take Off (MTO), Overage Shortage and Damage (OS&D) reports preparation and expedition.
 Preparation for the AMC and AMC scope finalization for all the equipment and machinery in the plant.
 On site Emergency plan is inducted for complete plant operation and carrying out regular mock drill and fire drill as per the HSE policy.
