• Manage and oversee two school projects for overall electrical and ELV implementation, project comprise of 6nos. substations, 8nos. two storey large building, 6 nos. guard houses, sports and football stadium. Ensures project is as per design intent and project specifications in compliance with QCS, QCD, MOI-SSD, Kahramaa regulation, NFPA and relevant standard.
• Handling the entire electrical and ELV system installation from first fix, second fix, wiring, t&c, handling over and DLP. system comprising of LV, small power, lighting, lighting control, GRMS, fire alarm, data-telephone, earthing, containment, fiber optic network, osp, access control, public address, cctv and bms.
• Conducted daily site visits and distributes manpower, progress monitoring, address any technical challenges, and ensure works are in accordance with QA/QC standard and other relevant guidelines.
• Identifies manpower requirements at site and distribute in accordance to work fronts, baseline program and manpower histogram.
• Lead the team by providing technical guidance ex. Clarifying shop drawings in relation to RCP, ID Drawings and SLD etc., conduct on site trainings for activities such as GI piping, PVC piping, cable tray and trunk, duct pipes wiring and cabling etc., address any materials, consumables and tools shortage by finding alternatives to optimize efficiency, ensure high-quality workmanship and timely project execution.
• Correspond via email and letters with contractors, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to track payments, material deliveries, submittals, meetings, and address site-related concerns.
• Leads the team for preparation and submission of technical documentation, Inspection request, material inspection, site clarification, shop drawings, as-built, material submittals, and method statements to clients’ representative, and for government approvals, adhering the project specification and other relevant standards.
• Participate in weekly meetings, collaborating with project managers, planners, contractors, and stakeholders from civil, mechanical, and other relevant departments. Engage in discussions to coordinate efforts, develop thorough project plans and schedules, and address any arising issues.
• Prepares and submit monthly interim payment application to client in accordance with the PO/agreement and ensures all works are claimed and monitored with substantiations and prepares variation if necessary.
• Supports QA/QC teams, engineers, inspectors to conclude comments of consultant and client engineer for issues ex. SOR, code-C WIR’s, shop drawing comments, NCR’s etc.
• Successfully resolved complex electrical issues on-site ex. mechanical and plumbing clashes, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth project implementation.
• Spearheaded successful completion of two Mega Projects used for world cup 2022 - BARWA Labour Housing Project and BARWA Family Accommodation Project - from design to build phase, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to timelines and budget.
• Facilitated smooth commercial operations by providing crucial QS support to commercial manager or project director/project manager, enhancing financial efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Successfully delivered two major projects designated for the World Cup 2022. The contract scope included design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of complete MEP works (internal & external). These projects consisted of 177 apartment buildings, 8 ancillary buildings, 13 substations, 12 mechanical rooms, and guard houses. Played a significant role as the post-contract MEP quantity surveyor, effectively managing and coordinating with the main contractor and subcontractors.
• Administered 258 Nos. MEP successful subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborated with subcontractors to finalize Bills of Quantities (BOQ), allocate budgets, and determine contract values. Diligently followed up with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials, tools and equipment’s contributing to the project's success.
• Meticulously prepares agreements by studying the scopes of works, inclusions and exclusions, payment terms, advances, notes, insurance and other appropriate clause. Maintained up-to-date knowledge of various contracts in use and analyzed contract conditions proficiently.
• Prepared and submitted monthly interim payment applications, securing the full contract amount of 414 million QAR. Achieved swift approvals through meticulous substantiation, correspondence and consistent follow-up, ensuring compliance with client requirements and facilitating immediate approval.
• Reviewed and assessed 1, 502 subcontractor invoices throughout the project duration and ensure alignment with subcontract agreements, meticulously noting any discrepancies or back charges. Maintained comprehensive records of subcontractor invoices for reporting to the project/commercial manager, utilizing SAP and collaborating with engineers throughout the process. Proactively followed up with approvers within the system to expedite the approval process.
• Successfully prepared, submit and secure approval of variation order worth 21 million, substantiated with BOQ, measurements, costing sheet, rate build-up correspondence, drawing etc.
• Provided valuable support to Project Managers and Directors in drafting correspondence, coordination with client, subcontractor, suppliers and managing contractual matters effectively.
• Attending meetings with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to discuss commercial and contract-related issues, and corresponding through letters and emails, was a part of the role.
• Conducted meticulous material take-offs, BOQ preparation, and build-up rates generation, leading to accurate valuation of offers, variations and subcontract certification, thereby creating seamless operations.

• Handed over key projects in Qatar utilized during world cup 2022, from design, Implementation to testing and commissioning and Handling over and DLP of ELV system. ensuring projects met programmed requirements and deadlines. Projects includes, hotels, residential, commercial, offices and luxury villas as mentioned above.
• Handled the following systems from design stage, implementation of first fix ex. GI piping, PVC piping, UPVC, trunking, box installations, rack installation, etc., second fix ex. Cable pulling for fire alarm, CAT6 for data/tel, GRMS, public address, access control and fiber optic pulling, rack patch panel installation, fiber to home and termination of cat6 cables, fiber optic splicing, and OTDR testing. installation of CCTV as per MOI guidelines and Fire alarm as per QCD requirements and QCS. Complete installation of the mentioned systems, conducted testing commissioning and support the DLP team to conclude snags and comments.
• All implemented scopes are based on project specifications and are compliant with local and international standards, such as QCS, QCDD, KAHRAMAA, NFPA, MOI-SSD, municipality regulations, and I always ensure to stay updated on these standards.
• Conducted daily site management and coordination, identifies work fronts, circumstances and distributes manpower accordingly. Arrange required tools, materials, consumables and PPE’s for smooth site activities.
• Supervised subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design intent and project specifications, subcontract scope and ensure that materials used are in accordance with approved material submittals and approved inspections.

Activities included conduiting, cabling, installation of racks, panels, termination, and device installation. Involved in IP configuration, NETAVIS server configuration, and indoor and outdoor installations.
• Supervision of Structured Cabling System installation, including cable tray/trunk, conduits, cable pulling of UTP and FIBER cables, termination, and installation of passive/active devices. Conducted Fluke testing and OTRD testing.
• Installation of AV, PAVA, and Scoreboards in stadiums, multipurpose halls, and gym areas. Capable of configuring AUDIAFLEX DSP and TOA VI-6, VO-4 from TOA.
• Led instrument installation projects, including secondary air compressor instrumentation, flow metering for clear water reservoir, data logging and recording of process parameters, water level monitoring system, refinery instrumentation, and meat processing plant PLC control system.
