RESPONSIBILITIES
1. MEP shop drawing submission list development based on base line construction planning schedule
2. Finalizing Builders work layout for riser openings, (Before casting the floor slab).
3. Shop Drawing Submission for Consultant’s Approval & Supervision of Drawing Department.
4. Raising RFI to the consultant for insufficient riser opening sizes, and getting its re-approval.
5. Material Take off.
6. Collecting Quotations for materials from Different Manufacturers/Suppliers.
7. Gathering Material preparations submittal by the supplier and reviewing it with the specifications.
8. Monitoring the material selections to match based on specification and vendor list.
9. Forwarding Material Submittal to Consultant for approval.
10. Reviewing Material requests provided by supervisors/foreman and cross check with
Respective shop drawings for exact quantities.
11. Preparing Local Purchase order (LPO) for material.
12. Follow up with the manufacturer / Supplier to receive the material on time.
13. Monitoring the stock list in store. If necessary ordering the material in advance to avoid
Delay on site work.
14. Site Inspection. (Always monitoring the site to verify if they are using the current revision layout)
15. Monitoring and reporting on all operation and maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical services.
16. Finalizing MEP Coordination layouts for Site Installation.
17. Finalizing L.V. Room & Electrical room layout details for consultant / DEWA approval.
18. Updating the shop drawing based on coordination layout and issuing for construction.
19. Participating for discussions in the Design Meeting to sort out the MEP Design issues.
20. Raising Design changes request (DCR) for variation.(If require any changes in design drawing)
21. Sending Alternative proposal sketch to Consultant for approval as per site requirement.
22. Preparation of Variation reports.
23. Sending E-mails to sub-contractors for site coordination issues/delay.

27. Follow up Electrical & Mechanical Engineers to send Firefighting & Fire Alarm drawings
for Civil Defense approval.
28. Finalizing Drainage and water supply drawings for Dubai Municipality approval.
29. Final as Built drawing developed based on site installation and submitted to consultant.
30. Discussion with planning Engineer, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to extend the project
time and send Extension of time (EOT) to consultant to extend the project time for huge Changes and additional works.

should be send to the Main Contractor & Consultant for approval (if necessary).

drawings from main contractor/consultant and to be upload in server.& Update shop drawings.
