Professional Achievements as InCharge of PITAC-KP:
- Managed to conduct 101 successful training
programs on different trades offered at
PITAC-KP which gave us 2087 passed-out
trainees since June 2017.
- Managed to conduct 05 successful skill
development projects in collaboration with
NAVTTC (National Vocational & Technical
Training Commission) under the National Skill
Development schemes.
- Initiated and signed MOUs with different
universities and industrial units to improve the
quality as well as spectrum of trainings provided
by PITAC-KP. The organizations include; SARHAD
University Peshawar, QURTUBA University

STEEL (Pvt) Ltd.

• Feasibility study of product with respect to available resources & Suggest alternate methods for non-feasible operations without affecting the outlook of product
• Development of Operations Breakdown structure of each Product and allocation of Standard Time & appropriate Machine to each Operation
• Process-Cost estimation of new products using total SMV of product
Resource Planning
• Establishment of annual budgeted Manning with respect to business trends
• Analysing the difference between available and approved manning and taking necessary actions to minimize or remove the gaps
• Appropriate allocation of manpower and machines to each style with respect to target
Work Standardization and KIAZEN
• Establishment of Method & Time standards for new Operations using Method & Time Study
• Designed new method and Work-aid (pick-dispose stand) for Grinding machine. The new method and work-aid resulted in;
o Increased operator’s efficiency by 15%
o Utilization of space reduced by 40%
o Increased worker’s satisfaction
• Designed new method for small-Parts scrapping. The new method resulted in;
o Reduction of SAM from 2.16 to 1.75min
o Reduction of required manning by 19%
o No. of operations reduced to ‘2’ from ‘5’
• Established new SOPs for Small-Parts WIP handling in cutting and Sewing. The outcome of project was;
o Reduction in utilization of WIP-Baskets by 10%
Layouts Planning & Designing
• Layout planning of each style with respect to sewing operation and Assembly Line Balancing
• Designed Layout for Trims-Attachment section. The New Layout Resulted in;
o Better utilization of space
o Smooth flow of material and operators
o Separate cells were made with respect to type of sundries and customers which resulted in better utilization of machines
• Designed Layout for Grinding Section which resulted in better utilization of space and smooth flow of material
Training of Operators & Supervisors
• Development of course material and schedule for operators and supervisors training according to AAMT (Advance Analytical method of Training)
• Defining standard Learning curves of each operation using empirical data
• Ensuring maintenance of training file of each trainee and cross verifying each before handing over trainee to production.
Labour Standards and Production Incentives
• Defining skill level of each operation based on pre-defined criteria
• Ensuring appropriate execution of Piece-Rate Policy
• Ensuring correct and timely issuance of piece-rate coupons against each operation of every order using PITS
