equipment, routers/access-points/switches/voice-gateways, mail servers, IIS Servers and

• Troubleshoot on Customer Premises Equipment through remote management (NMS,
Remote Desktop, Team Viewer, Telnet etc) and/or instructions over the phone/email
• Customer Operating System (Windows 2000, ME, XP, 7, Fedora, Ubuntu, etc) installation,
application software support, antivirus installation and configuration, driver installation
etc.
• Attend to raised Fault Tickets within the stipulated time frames and ensure solutions are
provided.
• Liaise and coordinate with other departments/teams in testing and providing total
enterprise communication solutions (L2 VPN, L3 VPN, Leased Lines, Voice Gateways
etc)
• Assigning customer site support visits and coordinating with the visiting team
• Assign, modify and deactivate customers on the NMS and Cisco Authentication Server /
BroadHop Server
• Configure and troubleshoot Alvarion/Grandstream/Linksys Voice-Gateways, update
firmware and configuration files, dial plans, DNs and passwords, codec etc
• Visit high net worth or special corporate customers to personally attend to their network
issues
• Administer ZeroShell firewall for LAN connectivity, FTP and TFTP Servers for updating
configuration files and bandwidth testing
• Maintain IP DSLAM/ADSL services
• Check and release blocked IPs on spam databases and update Core Network and relevant
client, and manually maintain Static IP database
• Conducting tests on the network and bringing issues to the notice of the relevant
departments
• Provide special corporate customers with bandwidth reports and packet breakdowns when
requested, in collaboration with the Core Network
• Provide reports on status, issues and proposed improvements
• Train and brief technical teams, interns and new staff as and when requested
