1) UX/UI deliverables for an SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution proposed for Royal Dutch Shell, a client of Utopia India Pvt. Ltd who in turn is a client for TrueTech Solutions.
Responsibilities:
- UX and UI deliverables based on early stage Functional Specifications and mockups conceptualized by leading industry experts and technical/solution/UX architects
- Participated in a week-long workshop at Shell’s Kuala Lampur office where solutions were promulgated alongside discussions and meetings
- Early mockups required adherence to SAP Fiori Guidelines with end deliverables expected to follow SAPUI5 standards and specifications
- Short timelines meant quick turnarounds and deliverables were varied in nature including self-contained HTML/CSS/JS files, Powerpoint files, static images, short videos (screen-captures) as well as web server hosted solutions
- Click-through Axure prototypes were supported by prototypes built off HTML5/CSS/JS (powered by Foundation)
2 ) UX/UI deliverables for Utopia India Pvt. Ltd, focusing on solutions that would be built around SAP Fiori (1.0).
Responsibilities:
- Creating low fidelity clickable prototypes envisaging solutions for an ESPIR implementation
- Used Axure to simulate SAP Fiori Single Page Application solutions for complex workflows
- Attained exposure and hands-on experience in writing live SAPUI5 code using mockdata to silmulate backend communications
The project envisaged enhancement to an existing website to enable interfacing with Remedy (consuming SOAP web services) and Crystal Reports(for viewing reports) over the internet in order to allow registered logged-in users to easily access defined
workflows and services through a pleasing, simple and intuitive interfaces using standards-driven browsers shipped with, or available in, commonly available devices.
Some key development points include:
- the application needed to be responsive across common devices like smartphones, tablets and desktops/laptops
- the application needed to use modern-day patterns and paradigms for enhancing the UX
- the application needed to be quick and responsive
- the application needed to be secure
- the application needed to be intuitive
- the application needed to be simple i.e. not have the user pause at any point due to complexity in performing a task
- the application functionality needed to be uniform and predictable so that user expectations were met and delivered as expected
- considering that AJAX and other related technologies are in active use, the application needed to continually inform the user of the current state of the application or when major tasks or processes had been completed, regardless of the result i.e. successful or failed.

The Tesco Hindustan Service Centre (HSC) is the Global Services Arm for Tesco - the world’s third largest retailer. The centre sits at the heart of the Tesco group, and provides IT and Business services to Tesco operations across Europe and Asia.
As a Software Engineer (with a team size of 7) was involved in User Interface Design and Analysis for IBM Webshpere portal systems for Tesco HSC as well as the parent organization.
implement interface/interaction/usability solutions for several large MNC clients which included Unisys, Wells Fargo, Staples, Honeywell, Orange, ToysRUs etc
Helped orchestrate a full e-commerce solution for Iatria Plc, Raleigh, NC.The shopping cart was integrated with a Payment Gateway - BluePay so that Online Credit Card Payment was functional. Shipping was calculated automatically by connection to UPS - the Shipping Method offered by the client. Also integrated during this period was a comprehensive Mailing List System to send out richly formatted e-mails to a subscriber base, complete with automated subscribe/unsubscribe facility.
As a Team Member (with a team size of 1) was responsible for:
- Complete design from flow determination to final implementation
- Maintaining consistency of look and feel across all the pages
- Integration of Blue Pay with the Shopping Cart
- Mailing List system integration
- Designing/Editing and optimizing images required for navigation
