• Operate and maintain the Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce optimum quality, potable water.
• Assist with carrying out and improving RO chemical cleanings.
• Assist with internal plant document control development such as work procedures and guidelines.
• Perform any reasonable technical task requested by Management.
• Assist Operations Manager in preparation and delivery of technical training
• Act as Control Room Operator when required.
• Prepare work orders for servicing and repairs.
• Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps and valves.
• Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant.
• Media changing activates in filtering units like Dual Media Filter.
• Establish & maintain preventative maintenance program & schedules, daily log sheets, inventory data.
• Prepare activity and work order reports.
• Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment.
• Provide reports to Operations Manager, as required.
•Plan and direct pipeline erection activities on site as assigned by the Project Manager.
•Check site work to ensure compliance with the specifications, drawings & scope of work.
•Inspect site to monitor progress & ensure conformance to engineering specifications & construction safety standards.
•Direct the supervisors for preparation of daily work reports, manpower/ machinery/ material / transportation requirements on timely basis.
•Ensure the trials pits are made according to drawings provided & direct the work as per the services found in the trial pits.
•Prepare project reports, noting the deviation from scope & assist in preparing the as built drawings & submitting it to PM.
•Co-ordinate with QC department, Client & Consultant.
•Arrange weekly work progress meeting & preparing minutes of meeting.
•Assign duties & work responsibilities to site supervisors & foreman.
•Raise the material & manpower requirements to purchase department & ensure it is supplied to site at right time.
•Ensure that the site supervisors get the work permit from safety department before starting the work.
•Prepare regular progress reports & project reports.
•Assist the Planning Department in preparing monthly invoices by providing work reports
•Identify Health & Safety training needs for site personnel.
