• Responsible for the overall performance of MAF Carrefour Dry Warehouse operations, including inventory, customer service, office operations, and IT.
• Involved in the Initial Setup of the warehouse at DIP, and the spear headed the successful project of Transition to the new warehouse at NIP
• Warehouse Overview: Temperature controlled warehouse (-1ºc - 21ºc), with an area of around 60k sqm, comprising of around 20k active SKUs stock, ranging from dry food, detergents, perfumes, hygiene related products, non-food, furniture, etc.
• Managing all operational activities such as receiving, preparation, breakdown, cross dock, value added services, loading, etc.
• Planning and organizing staff (8 direct reports, 30 indirect reports, and 200+ warehouse staff), and directing/ controlling all office and warehouse activities

• Responsible for creating and implementing processes, and training staff
• Assisting top management in establishing warehouse performance objectives (KPIs) with strategic planning, and responsible for achieving the contractual target KPIs

• Managing the inventory related activities and supporting operations of a 20, 000 sqm. Distribution Center, which stocks and distributes around 7000 SKU's of Carrefour FMCG to all Carrefour stores in the entire GCC region.
• Involved in creating and communicating inventory management policies and procedures.

• Handling tasks such as cycle counts, stock adjustments, analysis of historical stock movements, destructions, financial stock takes, forecasting, store returns, claims, 5s, pallet management, inbound & outbound checks, security, month end invoicing, etc.

• Initiating and managing important improvement projects which lead to increase in accuracy and efficiency of operations (like warehouse optimization, ABC analysis, streamlining processes by cutting down non-value adding tasks, etc.)

• Responsible for managing the inventory of approximately 21, 000 SKU's, with a stock value of around USD 500 Million, the stock mainly comprising of high value watches, jewelry, and other general cargo items belonging to Richemont.
• Analyzing the performance of logistics (Imports, Warehouse, & Exports) operations according to the set KPI’s/ SLA’s.

Applied Research Project: Improving ASEAN Intra-regional Connectivity Research was conducted to study efficiencies of various modes of connectivity in logistics and supply chain systems in ASEAN member countries with focus on Singapore multi-modal supply chain systems.
