When I joined Adwa Al Sanabel, the engineering submittal cycle was running behind and the DDC client relationship needed
steadying. My priority was getting the coordination rhythm right between our site team, the designer (Instudio, Egypt), and
the clients approval desk and removing the bottlenecks that were adding unnecessary time to every review loop.
• Engineering velocity: Restructured weekly review loops with Instudio and DDC that cut submittal turnaround time
and kept the approval pipeline moving approximately 20% faster cycle time, and a measurably stronger client
relationship.
• Schedule discipline: Ran daily progress tracking and weekly procurement reviews personally, maintaining 100%
milestone alignment throughout tenure. When procurement threatened to slip on critical long-lead items, I
implemented a structured purchase order tracking system before delays could materialize.
• Technical oversight: Provided hands-on support to the MEP team on site engineering challenges, maintained IFC
drawing compliance via Aconex, and kept underground pipeline execution moving against a demanding schedule.

• International procurement: Managed skid vendor coordination in India and Italy (Metering, Pressure Reducer,
Filtration), keeping deliveries on schedule against tight construction windows.
• Field quality: Resolved construction site conflicts in real time and ensured IFC drawing updates reflected actual field

• Closeout discipline: Oversaw engineering closeout and risk mitigation, ensuring all high-risk items were addressed
and documented before handover.

• SIMOPS brownfield execution: Led KM-0 brownfield activities including demolition of the black powder unit,
instrument and metering skid removal, 3 live hot tapping operations, and 2 jump-over installations all completed
with zero major safety incidents and without disrupting facility operations.
• Civil & structural delivery: Directed construction of six train foundations (325 m³ per base) and a 750 m³ oily water
sump pit, coordinating two approved concrete batch plants on site simultaneously.
• Commissioning leadership: Managed power-up and commissioning support for six compressor and generator trains
concurrently CB testing, point-to-point checks, hot loop verification while maintaining pre-commissioning oversight
across compressors and turbines.
• Fire protection systems: Oversaw full installation, testing, and FrPD/LPD approval of fire water pump systems (diesel,
jockey, electrical) and fire alarm systems for SAPMT offices and camp.

Managing a multi-contractor pipeline program for NWC and SWCC meant dealing with the complexity that comes when
multiple parties share a schedule and none of them have the same priorities. I built the reporting and risk tracking
infrastructure that gave the client and my management a clear, honest picture of where things stood and what needed
attention before it became a problem.
• Progress governance: Drove consistent schedule performance through daily and weekly reporting cadences with
NWC, SWCC, and contractors. No surprises, just structured, predictable visibility.
• Risk management: Reviewed weekly risk reports systematically and tracked mitigation actions to closure. Proactive
risk ownership at this level genuinely reduces cost and schedule exposure.
• Drawing quality: Coordinated red-markup reviews and ensured site conditions were reflected in design updates

A decade with KBR across Saudi Aramcos most significant refinery and NGL programs. This is where I built the engineering
governance and EPC discipline fundamentals that have underpinned every leadership role since working within demanding
Aramco and GISC compliance frameworks at genuine program scale.
• Program support delivery: Contributed across the full lifecycle of YASREF and Shaybah NGL, discipline engineering,
design reviews, constructability assessments, and project controls support from early execution through final
handover.
• Contractual risk management: Disciplined RFI/RFA management, change order coordination, and documentation
control that reduced claims exposure and prevented unresolved contractual issues from accumulating.
• Design leadership: Led design review meetings, pre-bid conference management, and constructability assessments
