Responsibilities:
Monitoring MJEC electrical distribution network assets, such as Power Transformer, Circuit breakers and capacitor banks, using Condition Based Risk Management (CBRM) software and reporting monthly asset performance and failure trends (mostly 33kV and 11kV related)
Monitoring the asset related risk in MJEC distribution network and reporting / escalating them to corporate risk manager by updating asset related risk register
Break up and follow up of Annual CAPEX Non Load Investment
Creating improvement plans, replacement/disposal plans for MJEC Critical assets like Power Transformer, Circuit breakers and capacitor banks using CBRM tool
Reporting 33kV and 11kV worst feeders
Creating and approving predictive maintenance work orders and forwarding corrective maintenance work orders using Maximo
Actively participated and provided Health indices of assets / substations to prepare Annual Maintenance Plans for MJEC network using CBRM and RCM Module
Identify and benchmark the tolerability of risk of asset failures in coordination with O&M department
Actively participated in Asset Disposal Committee for disposal/reuse decisions
Analyze condition monitoring reports and use them in reporting monthly asset performance
Providing input in preparation of PIADS, Strategic Asset Management Plan, Asset Strategy Documents etc.
Inspect Primary substations for violation of HSSE
Coordinate with other departments for any Non Load related upgrade/investment
Achievements:
Created Asset related Risk Management Manual
Developed asset performance metrics for non-critical MJEC network assets
Trained in Asset Performance module of Maximo
Successfully trained in Asset Management Planning by Dr Richard Chilton, Qasr
Received testahil certificate in 2014 and 2015 for implementation of Asset Management Plan
Responsibilities:
Follow up of project approvals from various ministries, departments, consultants and follow up of material, from quotation to utilization at site, with the suppliers
Supervise the projects execution at site
Coordinate in the logistics of the material for delivery at site
Prepare as built drawings of the projects and update on a day to day basis
Projects:
Street lighting works for primary and secondary dual carriageway of Duqm Town Master Plan Roads
Expansion of 33kV and 11kV networks and supply of connection to City Hotel Duqm
And various other projects of Re-inforcement and network expansion of DPC
Achievements:
Successfully designed the street lighting circuits, single handedly obtained all necessary approvals, procured materials, supervised execution, dealt with consultants on a daily basis over the three years project duration etc.
Dealt with superiors and juniors in a positive and pleasing manner
