Responsibilities:
• Prepare Procurement and Tender Plan strategy for the new
Project.
• Drafts tenders and Finalize Contracts of the projects after
commercial negations and award. Prepare pre-qualification
packages with the technical department.
• Oversee the execution of requests for proposals (RFP's),
requests for qualification (RFQ's), and invitations to bid
(ITB's).
• Manage and support completion of the entire tender process
(pre-qualification, proposal preparation, tender evaluation as well
as contract negotiations and administration),
• Drafting of tender documents, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of
D&B, EPC & Lump sum contracts,
• Review and recommend claims and other contractual matters for
resolution,
• Contract acceptance reviews for new contracts and contract
amendments,
• Review for contractual, legal, safety, risk management,
financial, tax, and accounting issues and provisions prior to
submitting to management/client for approval.
• Assist in processing of contractor payment requests.
• Change Management such as additions, deletions,
substitutions or other alterations or revisions in the WORK,
• Preparation of Contract change and prepares the relevant
variation orders
• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of
Engineer’s Instructions, Variation Orders and Claim Logs
• Attends Commercial Meetings and records minutes of
meetings
• Assist in the award of construction contracts, manage,
administer, and supervise awarded construction contracts,
• Plans and executes pre-tender and pre-contract stages,
including commercial evaluation of tenders received,
ensuring the contracting strategies and the ultimate contracts
developed are consistent with company approved policy.

contractor and takes appropriate action to ensure a
satisfactory resolution and informing management/client of

business units.
• Remain updated on best practices on contracts and
procurement.
• Ensure compliance of all contracts and procurement activities
with various government and regulatory requirements

• Prepares commercial/contractual evaluation including
analysis of quoted rates and prices.
• Provides supporting services such as preparation of
variation orders, claims, and other contracts administration,
as and when required.
• Contract monitoring & administration in compliance with all
contractual stipulations,
• Monitoring insurance policies, bank guarantees taxation and
other legal & commercial aspects.
• Monitor the various reports viz, weekly report, monthly report,
progress invoice, recovery planning and periodic
presentation to management.
Project:
• Construction Supervision of Various Projects which includes
multistoried buildings for Marine Engineering College, Kandla
