Ensuring the corporate compliance with the international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, BRC, HACCP, SQMS "McDonald's Standard", Halal, YUM, SQA “Burger King”, Carrefour and Animal Welfare standards)
Managing all second and third party audits and visits conducted by customers and certification bodies
Managing the corporate internal audit program through planning, performing, reporting and follow-up to ensure FSQMS platform is fully implemented

Motivating, coaching and developing the QA Team who challenge practices and the working environment and regularly assess the teams’ performance and output and effectively manage any shortfalls
Supporting new product scale-up and trial-runs
Trending all the activities relating to quality and food safety compliance to procedures and systems in a way that can easily provide relevant information to appropriate parties to ensure the continuous improvement of food safety and quality status
Responsible for all activities of Quality Assurance in the stores including (meat & poultry department - fish department - dairy & frozen department - fruits & vegetables department - dry food department).
Food Safety team leader for the FSMS.
Establish all quality training materials for fresh food department.
Conduct (12) trainings in 4 years with total of (250) trainees.
Responsible for Monitoring and improving the FSMS system in the store including:
Internal Audits, Returned products, Customer complaints program, Control of non-conformity, Recall and withdrawal process, Document control, verifications including GMP, cleaning company, pest control company, Process validation, Supplier evaluation program including suppliers audit.
Ensure implementation of GHP and GMP in all fresh food departments areas.
Issue monthly & quarterly data analysis reports to evaluate and report the store quality performance to be reported to the top management.
Analyze the microbiological results to take the needed corrective actions in case of any non-conformity.
Plan and conducts Internal Audits to monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system.
Design and implement cost saving programmes in the store in cooperation with the operation.
Handle customer complaints, proper corrective actions & follow up for customer satisfaction.
Auditing the own brand suppliers.
Project Manager of (Capacity building project for the quality managers and quality staff in the food processing factories) in cooperation between Makro & MUCIA & USAID.
Project member of (improving fish quality through the whole supply chain) in cooperation with GIZ (German government).
Manage and supervise all activities including inspections, Testing, Design Validation, Calibration, and Test Methods & Infrastructure in the factory.
Coordinate with production manager and other interested parties to prevent or minimize the cause of product defects.
Establish a detailed Quality Control plan for all products.
Manage the customer complaints and ensure the closing by proper corrective actions.
Responsible for the R&D projects related to developing the new products including (Plans, design, develop, and optimize the new products with necessary shelf-life and sensory characteristics) within designated time frame.
Supervise the Quality control engineers and make sure that the product quality checks throughout the processing line is done as per as the SOP.
Responsible for supplier approval and monitoring programme.
Internal Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 220000 & HACCP systems.
Establish and implement raw materials and finished products specification.
- Foundation Certificate in Business Administration It include the following (Business Finance, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, Principles of Marketing and Interpersonal Skills) plus standalone course in Strategic Management.
