Simulator Engineer for IDS Tornado flight Simulators Project with RSAF (Royal Saudi Air Force), King Abdul-Aziz Air Base. The Simulator Consists of many Systems: Sound System, Network System (CISCO Hubs and Rooters), Visual System ( Pixel Engines EPX 5000, 11 Projectors), Real Time System, Security System, Computer System, Interface System (Digital and Serial), Power System, Breathing Air System, Air Conditioning System to the Device, Touch screens monitors.
*Duties and Responsibilities :
•Responsible for providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports to flight commander, local management, and HQ Royal Saudi Air Force. Manage customer requests. Distribute and supervise all site tasks
•Prepares and maintains operations, inspections and maintenance documentation and related simulator reports and records
•Checks installed and repaired components to ensure compliance with technical publications
•Analyses circuits using common and special purpose test equipment in conjunction with technical data and schematic diagrams
•Accomplishes preventative maintenance functions including replacement of defective electronic and mechanical components
•Troubleshoots and repairs flight simulator equipment malfunctions
•Resolves flight simulator and associated equipment malfunctions by repairing or replacing defective components
•Assists instructors and aircrew during scheduled training missions, Loads and presets mission specific parameters into the simulator computer system
•Computer maintenance. Hardware problem troubleshooting Recover and backup Hard Drives
•Visually inspects items such as mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic (Digital and Analogue computers and peripherals) components
•Inspects and maintains flight simulator equipment, Performs periodic inspections of simulators
•Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs, computer software and hardware and associated electronic equipment
•Aligns, adjust and calibrates mechanical and electronic assemblies
