Facility Management Engineer history (duties & responsibilities):
• Prepares reports, data, and make recommendations for improving
operations and solving maintenance related problems..
• Manages a team of outsourced maintenance contractors and ensures that
maintenance contractors are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated
so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and
cost‐effective manner.
• Track, analyse and improve key maintenance parameters such as asset
utilization, maintenance cost, schedule compliance, etc.
• Manage & monitorr maintenance tasks that arise in a timely fashion.
• Ensures that systems are maintained and monitored including Septic, Water, Fire., Electrical and Propane
• Ensures that staff completes monthly cleaning check lists.
• Directs and co-ordinates all relevant trades people for repairs and maintenance
performed on equipment, building systems and refurbishment, as required.
• Monitors contract services to ensure quality standards are met and contract
compliance.
• As part of this work, ensures that all work meets applicable building code, is done with
• Assist in organizing marketing campaigns.
• Co ordinate negotiations with marketing company the design of promotional materials.
• Organisation and staffing booths at Fairs and Exhibitions.
• Organisation of events (VIP visits, internal events etc.) from A to Z.
• Give presentations at marketing events.
• PR co ordination with governmental institutions & companies
• Researching new markets.
• Conducting market research & students surveys.
• Attending meetings to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Assist in developing marketing strategy.
• Developing the marketing brochures and materials and proof reading copy.
• Obtaining approval of marketing material.
• Sourcing advertising opportunities across all ranges of media.
• Managing the budget for exhibition marketing, including generating leads & running the
exhibition stand on site.
