Activity Manager- Self Reliance & Livelihood at World Food Programme

The position functions as Activity 4 Manager (Building an interagency two-way
referrals systems and an evidence-based advocacy strategy for refugees self-reliance and provide
livelihood support package to targeted refugees and vulnerable Jordanians).

• Plan and implement activities of FCA and its possible partners, and relevant networks.
• Consider the recommendations of assessments and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
• Proactively identify threats and opportunities in the environment, review and manage existing risks and ensure that the preparedness plan is updated accordingly.
• Coordinate the production of timely quality projects reports in line with FCA and donor requirements.
• Contribute to development of annual reports and annual plans of the designated country program.
• Provide leadership for the dissemination of FCA’s values, vision and mission at the country level and lead, direct and mentor the country programme and its staff in line with the organizational strategy.
• Promote a participatory approach in programming work and create space in the structure for staff participation and involvement in decision making.
• Facilitate and contribute to building the capacity of possible FCA’s partner organizations, in particular on programme and project management.
• Encourage and promote innovation throughout program activities.
• Foster effective team working across the range of program functions to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness.
• Promote working methods and conduct that reflect the core values of FCA.
• Provide Coaching and Counselling advice to staff when necessary and lead initiatives to develop staff capacity
• Organise regular meetings with the management team and all staff for the purpose of exchanging information, coordination and learning.
• Ensure that the program staff are sufficiently involved in decision making process.
• Ensure that key programme documents (strategy programme document, projects proposals, research, reports, etc) are internally shared with staff.

sector at three governorates-funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
* Led Women Economic Empowerment project (2019-2021) in partnership with CBO resulting in supporting 1500
women socially and economically at Amman, Irbid and Zarqa governorates
* Led the Municipal Business (MuBu) project (2019-2021) on Youth economic empowerment and protection at 6
different governorates focusing on establishing and expanding MSEs- funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
* Responsible for managing implementing partners (Municipalities and INGO)
* Responsible for project reporting to HQ and donors including narrative progress and financial reports.

Livelihoods Advisor at Finn Church Aid
