Job Description: Quantity surveyor manages all costs relating to infrastructure civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Moreover, QS will seek to minimize the costs of a projects and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
Responsibilities:

• Financial reports and cost control reports.
• Maintain contract documentation and advice on pre tender and post contract matters.
• Preparation and issue of contractual letters to clients and / or sub-contractors.
• Post contract liaison with clients and design team.
• Carry out take offs for material procurement
• Subcontract negotiation and letting
• Preparation and submission of interim valuations, New rates and variations

• Activity wise cost controlling reports bi-weekly and monthly
• Agreement and certification of sub-contractors interim valuations and final accounts
• Agreement of project final accounts
• Preparation of detail documents for extension of time (EOT) for the project including prolongation cost with supporting documents.
• Preparation of cost breakdown structure.
• Coordination with planning team for the cash flow and resource managing.
