-Placed orders based on the buying plan and ensuring merchandise is delivered as per the plan based on the agreed agreement. -Source products from purchasing agents, suppliers & ensure to maintain budget by constant price negotiation, payment terms, cost of freight.
- Manage Si Noir private label brand for Noon, Namshi, Ounass, Center Point for Womenswear, Kids Wear, Sports Wear.
- Manage Budget, planning, vendor management, OTB Planning and Current Market Trends.
- Responsible to obtain materials/goods from different suppliers at lowest cost while considering the quality & reliability.
- Ensure the product range & list of categories are up-to-date and commercially in line with Noon/Namshi/Ounass/Center Point commercial strategy.
- Develop & decide the product assortment, merchandise point of view, key item positioning & promotional plans; ensure the collection is compelling, commercially viable and supports overall business objectives.
- Analyze competitor Marketing Trends, Selection & pricing to implement strategic changes.
- Collaborate with vendors and merchandizing teams on promotions and marketing initiatives & coordinate to execute the activities.
-Plan and select the range, type, quality and quantity of merchandise according to customer demand, trends, store policies and set prices and sell through targets in conjunction with the Brand requirements -Review buying feedback reports and provide recommendations to Sales Head to align buying strategy for a respective brand/collection.
- Monitor sales levels to determine product volume adjustments, replenishment & allocation.
- Source from different markets India, Bangladesh, China & Pakistan.
HANDLED: Women’s Wear, Kids Wear, Jewelry, Accessories within 15 brands
- Coordinate with various local & foreign buying offices for everyday activities & Local Sourcing required materials/ accessories.
- Prepare costing for product and negotiate with vendors on various prices and schedule of products.
- Administer product team and obtain required approvals and maintain deliveries.
- Evaluate all customer requests and ensure timely resolution of all.
- Supervise working of 10 tailors and train them if required in work process & evaluate their KPI’s for their productivity.
- Prepare production plans weekly, monthly & co-ordinate with Designers, Pattern Makers, Masters & approve swatch against order.
- Maintain and update reports for distribution work & plan for season.
- Perform regular checks on open to buy process, also check outsourced orders & perform QC check.
- Meticulously followed the buyer comments and forward to vendor with their updates, negotiated/ sourced different fabrics, prints and accessories trims.
- Monitored Production in the shortest of the lead-time. Vendor / Supplier Management & negotiation.
- Purchased required products in time, to the specifications and by negotiating good price, checked / compared prices in the market.
- Written, Placed, and tracked purchase orders. Assisted the buyer with selection of right product mix.
- Planned, monitored, and maintained inventory levels.
BRANDS HANDLED - OPUS, HIGHLIGHTS, CAM, FUSSLE, MARATEX, MODAVA (German Brands)
- Work closely with the Merchandiser’s to plan & create exciting ranges. Handling design indo fashion, western dresses and all kind of garments.
- Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock, by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork.
- Ensured the samples reach in time, within the target prices to the buyers. Sampling, product development and new ranges as per market trends i.e. Style, Pattern.
- Timely execution of sampling & Production in the shortest of the lead-time. Vendor Management, Finalizing new product range, Preparing PO
- To coordinate with design team & plan for designs collection customized development and creative work for forecasting. New sourcing of fabrics & raw materials.
- Vendor development and factory visits. Checking fits and quality of the pre- production samples.
- Pre-Production meeting with team & factory, production planning for every month & ensuring dispatch take place in time.
- Maintaining quality parameters with the Quality control departments for production and sampling. Follow up for further style to keep our production facilities to achieve the target.
- Meticulously followed the buyer comments and forward to vendor with their updates, Capable of sourcing different fabrics, prints and trims.
- Prepared TNA and cost sheets, budgets and presenting sales forecasts and figures for new ranges.
- Overall coordination & interaction with BUYERS/BUYING AGENTS & VENDORS.
- Handled corporate accounts independently, with their Trim Ordering & follow-up of Production.
- Independently able to handled Sampling & Embroidery unit.
- Coordinating with buyers on product quality, movement, margins & Initial planning on new season fabric.
