Sankofa project is an agricultural based project that is centered around around the sustainable development goals and aimed at reducing the impacts of climate change on our lives.
* Provide technical support to farmers on the Sankofa project.
* Ensure that farmers are well poised for plot installation for both preparation and planting.
* Monitoring of installed plots to ensure farmers go by the standards set by the project.
* Regular visit of farms and farmers to check up on their general wellbeing.
* Mapping of farms of all farmers assigned to me
* Data collection and entry gathered on the farms.

Engage wholesalers, retailers and commercial farms to sell the company’s products.
Follow up with distributors, find out their concerns and together with management team, address these concerns raised.
*To train customers on correct use of products
* Develop products by running field demonstrations and farmer seminars in my assigned areas
*Submission of monthly reports on activities undertaken
*Develop sales strategies to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
*Any other duties that may be assigned.
*Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support
* Organize and coordinate sales representatives schedules
* Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
* Recruit, hire, and train new sales representatives
*Receive and report on all sales leads
* Supervise sales representatives and assistants
* Answer potential customer questions and follow-up call questions
* Work with sales team when closing sales
* Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
* Meet all sales quotas and goals
Assist sales representatives and team to meet and exceed goals
* Analyzing existing operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial documents and recommending improvements.
* Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understands expectations.
* Visiting the different divisions to inspect crops, and also perform tests on soil and water.
* Ensuring seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
*Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
* Handling the marketing and sale of products produced on the farm like fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat, and grain.
*Ensuring all staff adheres to health and safety regulations.
* Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
* Collaborating with senior staff to prepare budgets and financial reports.
*Building professional networks and keeping abreast of developments in agricultural science.
