Responsibilities:
Subsea Pipeline Engineering:
• Performing engineering tasks as advised; under supervision of Leads & Senior Engineers;
• Taking responsibility for subsea pipeline design engineering tasks, performing all associated calculations and analysis;
• Preparing & checking design reports;
• Preparing and validating new analysis tools;
• Supervising & coordinating designers & draughts men;
• Liaising closely with other project team members (other disciplines); Ensuring compliance with corporate & project quality & HSE procedures.

Subsea Hardware Package Engineering (Procurement Support):
• Preparing technical procurement documents (material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, technical queries, purchase requisitions, etc.);
• Collating technical documents for procurement packages;
• Ensuring supplier works to the most recent revision of relevant technical documents;
• Interfacing with Document Control to ensure correct recording & distribution of documents;

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in (and communicate/implement findings of) project Job Safety Analysis;
• Review & retain project drawings & documents, report any discrepancies to Project Manager;
• Ensure work is within the capabilities of the proposed equipment & machinery;
• Prepare Installation Procedure(s) in accordance with Company Guidelines & with due regard for safety;
• Prepare MTOs for construction materials & project consumables, and liaise with Project Coordinator for procurement of the same;
• Issue “Load-out Lists” applicable to the work in accordance with Company’s recommended practice;

• Advise the Barge Superintendent and/or Barge Staff including Subcontractors (Surveyor, ROV, NDT, Pile Monitoring personnel) regarding the planning & execution of the work and the contractual & technical aspects of the work;
• Issuing field sketches, data sheets & checklists in the field where required for information purposes for the Barge Staff;
• Participate in the resolution of any technical problems arising during offshore installation and assist in the formulation of corrective action requirement;
• Prepare Post-Job Report as per Company Guidelines;

Working in the Construction Support Engineering Department, the scope of work involves structural analysis and design to support installation methods and procedures utilized by the Offshore & Onshore operations teams, when required. This also includes engineering related to transport the modules to offshore locations, vessel upgrades / modifications.

Responsibilities:
• Rigging design for offshore decks, jackets, bridges and boat landings.
• Pile installation checks.
• Sea-fastening design of jackets, decks, bridges, piles, boat landings, drill decks, subsea structures and miscellaneous items.
• Review project drawings, documents and specifications, to ensure their compliance with all required codes / internal standards.
• Liaising with the field / operation engineers and other departments, as required to ensure efficient functioning of the department.
• Coordinating with clients and other agencies for approval of drawings and design documents.

The scope of work involves Package Engineering for various projects, with responsibilities as follows:

Responsibilities:
Package Engineering (Procurement Support):
• Preparation of Material Take-off & Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, Technical Queries & Clarifications, Purchase Requisitions, Specifications and Datasheets for all Subsea Pipeline deliverables (Carbon Steel Linepipe & Bends, 3LPP & Concrete Coatings, Anodes, Isolation Joints, Flanges, In-line Tees etc.).
• Reviewing supplier data for compliance with design criteria.

Projects:
• Bid support on Premier Oil - Catcher Area Development Subsea FEED
• Bid support on Tullow Oil - Kudu Gas to Power Project
• Bid support on Anadarko - Mozambique LNG Project Subsea Pipeline & Equipment EPCI.

Responsibilities:

• Monitored work for compliance to Client approved codes and accepted engineering practices.
• Involved in the design process and production of all required drawings, to ensure that the most practicable/cost effective option is chosen.
• Ensured effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all project participants.

Achievements:
I was a member of the project team that designed and constructed a major road; 61.3km. I was also a member of the team responsible for the design and construction of nineteen link roads and a Pedestrian Crossing Bridge within various locations in the city metropolis and various remote locations.

• Performed site inspection, supervision and reporting on the various road construction projects being executed by contractors of the Federal Ministry.
• I represented the Ministry to oversee assigned site project activities and ensured project execution was carried out in a safe manner.
