Responsible of the train video surveillance and communications systems for the Toronto GoTransit Train. \nAct as point of contact between the system’s supplier, the customer and Bombardier. \nPerform complete and detailed studies, writing technical documentation and approve engineering drawings, as specified by the customer (internal or external) and standards required. \nPrepare technical documents for submission to customers and suppliers. \nPerform the procedures and test reports; supervise their implementation; perform analyzes and studies, and generate required reports. \nRough budget estimate of manufacturing to guide the development of projects under my responsibility. \nCoordinate the work between different suppliers and internal department involved in the project. \nPreparation of the annual department budget.
Technical responsible of several national and international telecom project \nEnsure a professional telecom engineering service \nDesigning optimal telecom architecture according to customer’s requirements: CCTV using BOSCH and AXIS cameras, with a GENETEC \nDesign experience in: \nCCTV (mainly BOSCH and AXIS Cameras), Video Surveillance and Access Control using GENETEC software platform \nIP/MPLS, LAN/WLAN, Digital Video, IPTV, Networking using CISCO products \nPreparing all necessary project documentations and drawings validation.
-Design and implement video transport and distribution network and IPTV infrastructure
-Direct communication with Vendors such as CISCO, RGB, HARMONIC, MIRANDA, ect.
-Preparing RFP, RFQ & RFI, and equipment testing/validation before installation.
-Experience in the Video cable technologies:
Video Set Top Box, QAM, CMTS, HFC, RF, IPTV
-Technical responsible of the Video Core Modernization (VCM) Project all over Quebec
-Experience with Protocol and operating systems such as :
SNMP, IMS, FTP, telnet, TCP/UDP/IP, Ethernet, UNIX, SUN SOLARIS etc.
-Generating weekly reports according to Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
-Development of a recovery solution for the entire video architecture
