Work involved during plant Commissioning:
Testing and commissioning activities of GTG packages (50MVA x 8Nos) include BRUSH -Generators & Excitation Systems, GE-Gas Turbine control systems (MARKVI) & Protection Relays, ABB - Auxiliary systems and its interconnections.
ECS and DCS interconnection with the electrical systems include GTGs and its operating philosophies.
Executing root cause analysis, trip analysis and fault diagnosis and recommendation of measures to solve the plant problems.
Reliability studies for the existing schemes, logics, and interlocks and arise recommendation for the reliable modification to the vendor
Inspection of all field and substation equipments and conform to Gasco standard.
Preparation of root cause analysis reports, incident reports, Generator control panel operating procedures, Pre commissioning and commissioning testing procedures for GTGs, Manuals for Generator Excitation & protection Systems.
Preparation of Habshan - 5 Protection Relay testing procedure in automatic modules and manual system with OMICRON.

Work involved after commissioned the plant:
Have experience in Preventive Maintenance, condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the HV, MV & LV - Motors, Transformers, switchgear Panels, Battery Banks, MOV, cathodic protection transformers, AC & DC UPS, Emergency supply distribution, feeders & Bus Bars.
Testing of ABB protection Relay - REF 615 for feeder protection, RET 615 for transformer and motors differential protection & Restricted Earth Fault protection, REM 615 for motor protection, REF 630 for directional and non-directional feeder protection.
Handling abnormal and emergency operations, start up and shutdown of plant units.
Making daily reports & permits system as per safety compliances.
Adhering to management and control of safe permit to Work (PTW) system.
Safe and smooth operation and maintenance of various electrical equipment

Preparing required documents for test including equipment base design, factory test result, schematic drawing, site test results, procedure & format, approved relay settings, operation & maintenance manuals of equipment from supplier, calibration certificates for testing equipments, protection requirements, scope of work, deviations.
