TEIXEIRA DUARTE DISTRIBUIÇÃO (Since November 2011)

Operations Manager - Fleet, responsible for developing, organizing, budgeting and report all activities of the company's fleet MAXI in Angola.

Main Achievements
* Reduction of 264k USD in Preventive Maintenance;
* Implementation of collection routes in a process of partnering with farms in Angola;
* Implementation of a fleet management policy;
* Development of an Integrated Logistics project in Sao Paulo (Brazil) to support a new business activity of selling food products.

RANGEL EXPRESSO II (2008 - 2011)
Operations Manager, responsible for the Management of the Montijo Platform and for the country's South Operational Coordination, with an P&L of 4, 5 M €, managing a team of 36 employees and 58 subcontracted drivers.


Main Achievements
* Reduction of 3, 5% in the HR structure costs;
* Reduction of 4, 5% in the Subcontracted Transport costs;
* Growth of 4% in income sales due to an agreement of exclusive Distribution with Rangel Freight.

MCLANE PORTUGAL (2005-2008)
Director of Distribution, responsible for Distribution of Logistics and Food-service and the warehouses of Canelas (Oporto) and Guia (Algarve) with an account costs of 6.7 M €, managing a team of 108 employees and 30 subcontracted drivers.

Main Achievements
* Reduction of 20% in Overtime costs;
* Implementation of Inosat Fleet Tracking System to Distribution and Commercial fleet;
* Reduction of the Global Distribution Costs in 9%;
* Distribution Partners Fuel Sales Program Implementation (Fuel station in McLane's Perimeter)

DHL PORTUGAL - TRANSPORTES RÁPIDOS INTERNACIONAIS (1999-2004)

Service Centre Manager, responsible for managing the GDC (Ground Distribution Center) of Alfragide, Head of Group Operations for the Alentejo region and Co-responsible for the daily operations at the Lisbon Airport, with an P&L of 5 M € and managing a team of 35 employees.

Main Achievements
* 1999 and 2000 Award for the Best DHL Service Center in Portugal;
* Service Center with Best Operational Results in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002;
* Optimization of the Process Area (Labeling, weighing and cargo traceability) in 10 minutes;
* Implemented several Projects at regional level after receiving training in Brussels' Engeneering Center.

LEAR CORPORATION PORTUGAL (1998-1999)
Quality Supervisor, responsible for the standards compliance of raw materials, process control, final product and implementation of continuous improvement, managing a team of 42 Quality Inspectors.
Main Achievements

* Resolution of production problems at the Costumer's Plant in England/Coventry, through supervision and contract of a local team of "repairers";
* Accomplished reduction of production defects (to an acceptable level) in the Volvo and Jaguar production lines.
