Ensuring all projects were executed efficiently through the effective application of established project management tools. Meeting or exceeding KPIs on Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, Schedule and other critical success factors specific to individual projects. Implementing project plans and frequent risk management reviews all contributed to the ultimate success of the projects.
Leadership skills combined with an in-depth knowledge of project management principles allowed the successful management of project teams through design, procurement and construction management of a program of major projects. Ensuring project management principles were enforced for each project and developed in all team members. This provided absolute clarity on scope and expected deliverables from the outset. Implementing rigorous change management and project controls management. Leading regular face to face project reviews with the client project managers meant expectations were aligned and could be managed.
Key responsibilities of this role included; Ensuring the individual project managers on each team prepared individual Project Plans, accurate Cost Estimates and realistic Schedules.
Delivering capital projects in a cost effective manner that met or exceeded safety, environmental and financial KPIs
Implementing change management through regular reviews and feed back to client.
Ensuring compliance with financial, safety and environmental corporate engineering standards.
Providing strong safety and contractor management in the execution of engineering projects.
Leading the implementation of program improvement initiatives.
Leading client review updates on KPIs and Earned Value.
Responsible for yearly capital management and planning of major capital projects to meet the client's financial and schedule milestones. Resource planning and effective interface management of project teams, client representatives, contract partners, sub-contractors and suppliers to meet the yearly projects program.
Logistics / Equipment Leader, IE43 Facility Expansion (value $330MM)
Responsible for technically expediting all equipment (value $50MM) which had been sourced in Europe, US and China for this project. Problem solving all challenges associated with the interface between a high value design centre in Mumbai, lead designers in US and client system owners who were based in Ireland. Leading status review meetings to ensure project schedule milestones and cost targets were met or exceeded.

On site coordination of equipment and mechanical installation on a major construction project. (value $350MM) . Management of multiple contractors (European and Philippine) to achieve schedule milestones within agreed contract. Review and approval of design documentation including P&ID's and equipment specifications. Provided support to construction, commission teams and operations. Commissioning and start up of systems.
