• Organized and arranged the travels of more than eight meetings for Central West Asia & North Africa (CWANA) (60 authors and review editors).
As CWANA Team’s Program Assistant, I had to travel and follow up the following meetings’ arrangements:
• 1st CWANA Sub Global Authors’ Meeting - December, 2005, Aleppo, Syria.
• 2nd Global Authors’ Meeting May, 2006, Bangkok, Thailand.
• CWANA CLA-s Meeting - August, 2006, Aleppo, Syria.
• 3rd CWANA Sub Global Authors’ Meeting, December, 2006, Cairo, Egypt.
• Followed up various cases of students (the status of their study, the problems they faced while learning, communication with teachers, etc).
• Acted as English teacher for kids’ during the summer seasons. I introduced the alphabet and phonics to early year children and encouraged them to sing and express themselves in English. I helped 12 year old students to learn different language skills (listening, speaking, grammar and writing).
• Assisted JAVA learners (Arab nationals) to get used to studying their subjects in English. We had to read together the java text book and interpreting it to make a sense of the information they need to grasp and link it to the practice.
• Organized special activities / trips for English learners on monthly bases. The trips aimed to strengthen the ties between students, encourage them to run their conversations in English outside a classroom environment.
• Attended meetings with teachers for course evaluation, learners’ gap identification and course enhancement purposes.
