Achievements:
• I have established and built a compliance platform from scratch by introducing a compliance company manual to bring greater consistency and organisation across the Groups various entities. This involved creating an anti-bribery and corruption portal and policy to safeguard the company’s sales operations. Recently, I introduced a company travel and hospitality portal to reduce costs and allow greater transparency over staff travel movements (and to safeguard against anti-bribery laws).
• I have led on the liquidation and formation of a variety of entities and recently taken the joint lead on the Group CSR policy.
• I helped broker an unorthodox export deal with the US Directorate of Defence Trade Controls.
• I am responsible for the Groups movement of controlled military equipment in line with the International Traffic in Arms \[ITAR\] Regulations and Export Control Act (see Additional Courses, page 2).

• Wide experience reviewing contracts in areas such as aviation, security, construction, property and Maritime.
• Contract drafting under tight deadlines across a variety of business sectors (NDA’s, Teaming Agreements, Professional Service Agreements and Supplier Agreements etc.).

• Conducting periodic internal reviews and audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed. Where issues occur, I conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues.
• Identify compliance issues and ‘red flags’ that require follow-up or investigation.
• Serve as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management.
• Advise internal management or business partners on the implementation or operation of compliance programs.
• Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures (anti money laundering, anti-bribery etc.).
• Review or modify policies or operating guidelines to comply with changes to environmental standards or regulations.

• I managed all legal contract processes for a Joint Venture maritime security company. This involved managing a legal and compliance team across Dubai and the UK and reporting to the CEO.
