Assist the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and bakery products.
Ensure all food items are prepared in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Perform daily mise en place and prepare ingredients required for pastry operations.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace cleanliness in compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
Properly store and label ingredients and finished products following FIFO procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or quality concerns to supervisors.
Operate and maintain pastry kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Support the team during banquet events, special functions, and high-volume service periods.
Minimize food waste and contribute to cost-control initiatives.
Follow all company policies, health and safety regulations, and departmental procedures.
Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
