Responsibilities:
• Preparation of site specific Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
• Monitor and enforce HSE plan.
• Organize monthly health and safety meetings.
• Ensure Toolbox Risk Identification Card (TRIC) and Safety Activity Daily Diary (SADD) Sheets are daily implemented. Assist in the project safety supervision of health and safety aspects & in the development, implementation and monitoring of job hazard analysis for subcontractors.
• Induction of new employee, including subcontractors about health and safety program.
• Request all safety, first aid and fire prevention equipment required & see that it is maintained & in good condition. Ensure that each supervisor or foreman provide, use and maintain the equipment necessary to safeguard the operations under their direction.
• Inspect construction site, materials, store, stock yards, protection barriers, barricades and signs and do monthly audit on Health and Hygiene at Labour Camp, make recommendations and corrective actions as necessary to correct unsafe acts or conditions.
