Work done on (i) the characterization, in vitro (on a medium mimicking the infection of wheat grains) of secreted proteins by a pathogenic strain Fusarium graminearum; (ii)
functional analysis of this secretome in vitro and in silico; and (iii) identification of putative effectors (Proteomic approaches)

Work done on the Differentiation between Aspergillus flavus and Aspergillus parasiticus from pure culture and aflatoxin-contaminated grapes using PCR-RFLP analysis of aflR-aflJ intergenic spacer; and on the molecular characterization of microorganisms (toxic fungus) and the study of genetic pathways of biosynthesis of ochratoxin A (Molecular approaches).

Research work done on a study of the cultivation techniques of toxic fungi of the genus Aspergillus, Penicillium and Fusarium (specific filamentous fungi) on specific areas; identification of isolates by optical microscopy and study of the capacity of these fungi in producing toxins (by liquid extraction, and toxin dosage by HPLC).
The formation trained me on the different techniques of food analysis: physico-chemical, molecular, microbiological and sensory. I also acquired notions on optimization of existing technologies used in industries and on the basics of internal audits and safety conditions.
