• Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
• Setting out, leveling and surveying the site;
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant;
• Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect;
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
• Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
• Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site;
• Preparing reports as required;
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

• To fully manage the technical operations, through site engineering
staff, on a day to day basis for the given project or projects.
• Oversee the day to day running of the site engineer
department.
• Take ownership of the responsibility to ensure the correct design, inclusive of change is followed.
• Ensuring the build ability of the proposed design.
• Preparation and management of Material Submittals.
• Preparation and management of Method Statements.
• Control of sample taking and laboratory testing of samples.
• Representing the Company towards the client and consultants on site, inclusive of attendance of site meetings, with regard to the technical operations.
• Ensuring Company QA/QC standards are fully adhered to.
• Ensuring Company HSE policy is correctly applied.
• Ensuring Company procedures are followed in all matters.
• Control of construction drawings and the preparation and maintenance of the drawing register.
• Maintenance of the ‘As Built’ drawings.

• Manage positive relationships with all internal and external customers and resolve escalated issues (responsible for the communication efforts to customers such as changes, new services, incidences, etc.).
• Ensure the maintenance of cleanliness and attractiveness of the common areas in accordance to company standards and will lead the maintenance personnel in the operations.
• Manage resources to ensure delivery service levels are achieved (prioritize tasks and share best practices with the team).
• Provides weekly and monthly report to Mall Manager on the tasks completed and accomplished.
• Monitor work of the Technical Service Personnel in performing requests of units to avoid serious loss and damages of mall facilities.
• Monitor budget, report variances and recommend corrective action.
• Manage contract relationships with external service providers and provide data on operational effectiveness to management as needed.
• Review and improve service processes to optimize local service delivery.
• Implement processes, procedures and/or initiatives within area of responsibility.
• Enforce established procedures and guidelines on tenant constructions.
• Assist mall management in providing security control and safety measures to the mall, employees, tenants and customers
