• Inspection of electrical equipments based on implemented company standards.
• Provide corrective work orders using Oracle JDE system for electrical & instrumentation jobs.
• Directly involved in motor alignment using laser.
Directly involved in maintenance, repair and overhauling of the following electrical equipments:
• Low Voltage Asynchronous Motors from fractional kW up to 250 kW including its controllers (DOL and Frequency Drives)
• Medium Voltage Asynchronous Motors rated 0.69kV to 4.0kV, from 450 kW 1600kW, including its MV Frequency Drives.
• Medium Voltage Wound Rotor Motors rated 13.8kV, from 1160kW up to 2000kW, including its LRS.
• Rectifier Transformers with 72 KV DC maximum output, including their controllers for the Electrostatic Precipitators.
• Medium Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breaker, 13.8kV system for Main supply and Feeders.
• Distribution Transformer rated 800-1500kVA.
• 50T Capacity Overhead Crane w/ Wound Rotor Motor and Stepping Resistor used as starting.
Basic function is to handle full responsibility for the immediate corrective maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment essential for cement manufacturing operation.
Supervise one electrical and one instrument shift technician in every shift.
Review/check the workmanship of the shift technician in carrying out the task.
Review the recorded activities undertaken by the shift technician.
Develop maintenance program to support the department objectives.
Renders decision based on facts, engineering policies and company rules.
Generates requisition for any spare parts used during repair including perceived lacking spare parts.
Implement good housekeeping and safety practices.
Ensure proper usage of appropriate personal protective equipment.
Investigate premature failure for possible errors during repair and other deficiencies.
Review the equipment profile monitoring: Power Distribution Transformer, Synchronous Motors, DC Motors and Capacitor Monitoring done by the shift technician.
Response to plant wide electrical and instrument trouble calls and facilitate for continuous operation with minimum equipment downtime.
Equipment monitoring of Power Distribution Transformer, Synchronous Motors, DC Motors and Low/Medium Voltage Capacitors.
Dielectric oil testing and T.T.R. on plant wide electrical transformer.
Repair and termination of power cables rated 4160 Volts.
Modifies across the line controllers to VVVF/Soft Starter controllers.
Operates the PLC with different brands like Modicon, GE Fanuc, Koyo and Mitsubishi.
Conduct inspection of customers with violations R.A. 7832 (Anti-Pilferage of Electricity Act).
Design, layout and installation of electrical system for medium size dwelling.
