Conduct Basic Life Support Training to medical professionals
e.g.: Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapist, Dentist, Pharmacists
❖ Conduct First Aid CPR AED Training to non-medical and medical professionals.
❖ Conduct Continuing Medical Education Courses (CME) e.g.: Infection control, Diabetes Mellitus,
Medication Calculation, and Intravenous and Intraosseous Training.
❖ Responsible for securing American Heart Association documents from leaking and illegal
distribution.

life support before they are given with a licensed to provide BLS and certificate.

• Provided nursing care to patients with diabetes, hypertension, alzeimer’s disease, spinal cord
injury, and post knee surgery.
• Provided nursing care to patients with attached tracheostomy tube, endotracheal tube,
nasogastric tube, suprapubic catheter, foley catheter, and Percutaneous
endoscopic gastrostomy tube.
• Ensuring safety during activities of daily living of the patient.

discomfort or pain.
➢ EMERGENCY ROOM NURSE
Assess patient upon arrival in the ER and provide initial interventions.
• Refer to physician accurate details of patient's condition.
• Start an intravenous line.
• Administers oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous and topical medications.
• Responds quickly to “code blue” situation. ( e.g. Perform CPR, administer emergency IV
medications, maintain airway patency, and proper documentation of interventions provided.)
• Process admission and do accurate endorsement to receiving area.
• Process laboratory and diagnostic procedure and make sure that the patient understands the
procedure he/she would undergo (e.g. x-ray, ct scan, MRI, ultrasound, 2d echo, and blood
works.
• Prepare patients for emergency surgery.
• Do basic interventions in the ER; wound dressing, immobilizing fractures, immediate dose of
medications as ordered.
• Assist physicians during minor surgery; Chest tube insertion, removal of foreign body, and minor
sutures.
• Accompany patients via ambulance for referral to another hospital.
• Accurately documents interventions done to the patient
