Recruited for a new job position in the service department, reporting to the Regional Service Manager in UAE and the Global Contract Manager Services in Netherlands. Ensure consistent regional management of all service agreements including oversight of the contract management process, as well as development of specific standards for bidding and submission, contract negotiations and document management. Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of service department efforts.
• Conducted strategy meetings with key clients to identify their issues and take care of all their Nav-Com mandatory and additional requirements, create service agreement proposals for 200+ vessels which mainly operate in the Middle East, Africa but also Worldwide, facilitate pricing discussions, and obtain senior management input on timelines and deliverables.
• Closed several 4-year duration service agreements valued at 300, 000 USD per year and performed technical and commercial presentations based on fleet equipment inventory, fleet volume analysis and strategy discussions with top management.
• Served as primary organizational contact during contract negotiations.
• Ensured that contracts, proposals and meetings are properly entered into organizational CRM database and Radio Holland Global Service System to be securely saved and monitored.
