Duties and responsibilities:
Estimating:
1. Review and interpretation of Project specification in an invitation to Tender (ITT) / Request for Quote (RFQ) document, understanding and analyzing all requirements within the documents.
2. Preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates in a timely manner using various estimating techniques and experience to suit various intricacy, formats and clients.
3. Dissemination of the project specification documentation to all relevant internal departments to seek their assistance into the estimation process where necessary. Liaison with these departments to ensure that all relevant input received is compliant with ITT/RFQ requirements.
4. Preparation of correct and concise technical/commercial clarification request for onward communication to client during the tender period if required.
5. Support the procurement group to solicit proposal from material suppliers, equipment vendors and third party services.
6. Preparation of relevant structured and professional technical supporting documents, including write-up of the scope if required to support the estimate.
7. Attendance of tender review meetings, both pre and post tender submission.
8. Compilation of relevant estimating data to be handed over to projects and operations after award of contract and attendance of project kick-off meetings when required.

Invoicing: 1. Working closely with the Project Managers/Engineers within ASRY Offshore Project Division to commercially monitor the project progress and capture additional works and work variations.
2. Attending daily project meetings, project walk around and workshop visits to ensure all works carried out are captured adequately, keeping up to date within project direct costs, overheads and service outlays.
3. Preparation of Variation Orders in liaison with the Project Managers for Additional Works of Variations in the original work scope.
4. Preparation of estimates for additional works and variation orders in liaison with various departments/production personnel for submission to clients and a timely manner.
5. Working closely with the Procurement Department to solicit prices for materials and services to include in the estimate.
6. Working closely with the engineering department for drawings, calculation and MTO's to include in the estimate.
7. Daily updating of Project Variation Order register, cost summary and project invoice and keep clients updated on project account.
8. Effective negotiation of prices with clients where essential, justify quotes and ensure adequate profit is maintained throughout the project.
9. Preparation of Project Invoice with necessary supporting documents/Work Completion Reports in accordance with the department procedure for submission to client near to project completion.
10. Preparation of final project cost summary and project closeout report.
11. Compliance with health, safety and environmental policies, other company policies and procedures and compliance with all audits and inspections.
