Position Held: Maintenance Manager (Pacific lock)
Upon completion of the construction, installation, commissioning and receipt of the
taking over certificate, the contract had a requirement for the contractor to maintain
the set of locks for three years.
Main functions:
· Lead and monitor the electromechanical team that carries out maintenance of
permanent works, ensuring that these activities are undertaken in a safe,
economic and efficient manner in accordance with contract specification.
· Review and Monitor the execution of a maintenance master plan that ensures
99.6 % of Lane availability of the locks.
· Ensure the availability o the adequate resources in the electromechanical
works, including staff, plant, materials and equipment.
· Representative of GUPC at meetings with ACP regarding maintenance
management issues.

substation and transmission lines.
Position Held: Mechanical Installation and Inspection Coordinator.

· Coordinated all mechanical inspections with the contractor - IMPSA ensuring
adherence to all contract scope, specifications and quality standards.
· Coordinated with the engineering department for review and approval of all
technical documentation presented by the contractor.
