Working in theatre foyer: servicing visitors, monitoring compliance with the theater rules, solving non-standard situations, communicating with guests, in some cases with foreigners from Europe and China. Checking visitors' tickets for authorized access, give directions to their seats and answer questions. Ushers take on security monitoring tasks and alert security personnel when required. In our theatre there is a great number of people participating our plays - about 1.200 per day.
During my education I’ve been doing different things, but all of them were about communication and translating practise. My major is Linguistics. It means that through all these years I was improving my English speaking skill to very high, almost as a native speaker level. We were communicating with different foreigners all over the world - in university lessons there were guests from USA, Great Britain and most part of Western Europe, and even from Middle East. Along with studying of English, I was practising German, but not so much as with the first foreign language.
