Lead a team of 50+ Manpower in the Field Maintenance department.
Plan & coordinate routine maintenance & major jobs during shut downs as directed by Maintenance Manager.
Prepare budget for maintenance spares procurement & effective utilization of the same. Prepare budgetary proposals for contract works and under takes technical supervision of contractors.
Procure plant spares and set track stock level so as to avoid shortage of spares during major overhaul of the plant.
Involved in the maintenance of all stationary equipment including reactors, storage tanks, vessels, shell & tube exchangers, plate type exchangers, valves etc.
Supervise and monitor progress of all types of routine, breakdown and planned maintenance activities.
Successful startup of 1200 TPD NP plant & execution of all commissioning & pre-commissioning activities including final service test, loop testing, hydro-testing, flushing, air blowing, steam blowing, box-up & water run etc.
Interpret & Reviewed Engineering documents including Data Sheets / Equipment layouts / GA dwgs / cut out plans etc of equipments according to CFI Technologies (France) and UDHE GmbH (Germany) standards.
Reviewed IFC drawings for construction, modifications or alterations to ensure conformance to the company’s specifications and standards.
Independently handled cases of different equipments to be procured for the plant reaching a maximum order value of 6+ Million USD.
Developed Cost estimates, BOMs, CSTs, TBAs & provided technical advice to management and other departments/divisions, as required.
Supervised construction activities of plant main building & Prill tower (68m height) including rigging of equipments, erection & lay down of underground & above ground lines, structure fabrication & erection.
Ensured compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices and the effective communication and coordination between all disciplines and all other project participants.
Designing & development of checking fixtures for Toyota Motors.
