• To develop R&D objectives for the Category based on long term product strategy and plans.
• To develop R&D objectives for cost effective recipes, formulations, RM substitution, flavors, variants, process changes and standards, quality specification etc. in consonance with the Business Unit plan.
• To ensure an activity plan along with timelines, resources, equipments and space needed to execute the R&D deliverables.
• To carry out pilot studies in manufacturing and join the marketing team for market testing of new product prototypes and feedback thereof.
• To develop packaging concepts in conjunction with marketing, quality and purchase teams.
• Once the product concept and formulation are finalized, coordinate with manufacturing for productionizing and firming up process methodology and SOP’s. Ensure smooth scale up from lab to shop floor production.
• To keep abreast of global trends in the Category including new technologies, equipments, competitor launches and cost of formulations. Apprise all concerned ofthese developments.
• To associate with the marketing team to understand market research findings, consumer preferences and competitor action to fine tune product development activities.
• Continuously benchmark competing products for functionality and cost.
• Formula & Recipe custodian for ERP systems
• MDM Data Steward in Business Unit
• To check and comply the standards with accordance to customer requirements according to various countries
• Leading Cost Saving Projects through revising formulas, substituting raw materials and optimizing production process
• Ensuring Process to Quality Management systems.
Reporting to Quality activities on daily basis to run the system smoothly to get proper results of production output, efficiency, performance, achievements Vs plans etc.
Associated as "Microbiologist" ،§INTERNAL HALAL AUDITOR،¨ & ،§Trainer for BASIC FOOD HYGIENE.
Performing technical & statistical analysis using BaaN & ORACLE to enhance overall process efficiency, product quality and packaging methodologies etc.
Ensuring implementation of all controls & monitoring of CP،¦s, CCP،¦s & GMP according to HACCP plan along with schedule verification, maintaining documents regarding the same.
Performing all the microbiological Testings for both raw material & Final Product.

pathogenic micro organisms (especially, E.coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Coli
forms, Yeast & Mold)
To maintain and manage the laboratory for testing and verification of different
parameters or std related to raw material, packing material and finished product. &
maintaining sampling record of samples forwarded to internal & external lab.
