I worked at Profab to complete boat building and maintenance work. In addition, I was part of a team to build bespoke luxury vessels. This also led to remote working to launch the craft, complete sea trials and complete guarantee work.
I worked at Sounds Marine as a boat builder and engineer, completing a range of work including bespoke project work to refit and redesign a vessel according to specific requirements. In addition, I was involved in sea trials on vessels that I had worked on to ensure the integrity of work.
I started at Marine Specialist Technology as a mechanical engineer. Over the time service there I achieved team leader and then on to superior. I ran production lines and work for the well-being of staff and quality and craftsmanship of the craft build and lead times.
I completed work on refiting and servicing of a range of military and utilitarian vessels (RNLI, police and navy). I also worked on private vessels that required servicing in the boat yard. I was responsible for the training of apprentice engineers and shipwrights also.
