Course dealing with GE gas turbines, its generators and MV controls. Learned to install, repair, overahul and diagnose GE gas turbines. The program is aimed at educating engineers for field service tasks. The "in-class" knowledge was backed with "on-site" experiences held in US locations like: Oswego (NY), South Carolina (SC), Springfield (MS), and on sites in Maracaibo and El Salvador.
This graduate program is aimed at research and creating knowledge on professional logistiscs models and strategies. After spending 2 years in the classroom, the student must structure, write and defend a thesis work before a panel of experts. The techniques boarded were mostly consiting of: Operations Research, Quantitative and Technological Forecasting, Cost administration, Finance and import-export regulations.
This studies relate to aircraft design and maintenance. Consist mostly of mechanical engineering applied to aircraft design and construction. Important topics were studied, like: aerodynamics (subsonic and supersonic), aeroelasticity, aircraft stability, fluid dynamics, helicopters, drag and lift estimation, powerplants and airport regulations. Also during my tour as a student participated in side activities like the english conversational club, and took military training.
