Working with the cost management team in pre contract works of mega projects.
Leading a team of quantity surveyors in QS related works of all type of building projects. handled works including quantity take off, BOQ preparation, preparation of complete tender package, tender evaluation, analysis of variations/claims etc. Presently working from Dezire's Back office in India.
Reporting to the General manager, I am involved in preparation of tenders with works from initial drawing/specification & contract study and quantity take-off to preparation of the BOQ, submission of tenders, post tender clarifications/negotiations with client representatives/engineers and also in the preparation of variations, running bills & extension claims for existing projects. My job profile includes leading a team of junior quantity surveyors handling multiple projects at a time in pre/post tender works.
Estimation and execution of ‘ Kristal campus 10’ spread over 27 acres including 130 villas, 4 appartment towers, club house, swimming pool, health club, auditorium, tennis courts & play grounds/jogging tracks.
• Reporting to Manager -Projects
• Execution & Quantity surveying for villas, club house etc.
• Preparing Detailed Estimates & Billing of Quantities (BOQ)
• Attending meeting with engineers of sub contractor
• Site coordination between structural, architectural, plumbing, electrical etc
• Preparation of MDR (Monthly Development Reports)
• Preparation of weekly schedule for the work
• Detailed RA bill preparation
• Detailed budget preparation in co ordination with group project manager
• Quality checking for all civil, electrical and plumbing works
B-Tech DEGREE in Civil Engineering- April 2003(TKM College of Engineering kollam affiliated to University of kerala, Kerala, India) Aggregate marks secured 5694/8600 (66.21%)
