has undertaken the project of developing the SHAH Arab field sour gas reservoir. This program has been designated as the SHA GAS Development (SGD) project and represents a new era in gas development in Abu Dhabi. The SGD projects cost of USD10 billion, which the program divided into 8 main package. Package 4 is awarded to Samsung Engineering Co. Ltd. (SECL) covers the power interconnection, off-sites & utilities which consist of stream, nitrogen (N2) fire water system and flare & blow down. In addition, the on-site will include the main control room, fire station and laboratory.


Duties and Responsibilities

¤ Ensure that all assign personel are instructed in and comply with all aspects of our client’s Health, Safety and Environment(HSE) policy, site security, site regulations, permit to work procedures and instructions and client requirement.

¤ Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned construction supervisors and engineers.

¤ Ensure all quality control checks and test are investigated with records maintained and available as required for concrete mix design, concrete pouring, foundation release, grouting release, area release etc... all in accordance with client quality plan, method statements and project specifications.

¤ Managed and Supervised in a daily basis the Subcontractor for building project (Main Substation Building, Main Distribution Substations, Fire Station and Laboratory) in accordance to GASCO specifications.

¤ Preparation and update of construction schedule in coordination with building subcontractor Study and familiarize the Contract Documents, IFC drawings, Structural Specs, Architectural Specs, Coordinated Shop Drawings and other documents required and pertinent to the projects.

¤ Control of Quality in compliance to GASCO specifications and approved IFC drawings, Review and approval of bar bending schedule submitted by subcontractor

¤ Review and recommendation of subcontractor monthly progress accomplishment invoice

¤ Preparation of monthly forecast concrete schedule and look ahead construction schedule in coordination with subcontractor

¤ Documentation of any technical issues arises in the field vs IFC drawings and specifications then recommend solutions

¤ Coordination with other discipline engineers (ME&I) and client PMC as required

¤ Monitoring materials and equipment availability and follow-up if necessary

¤ Promote and maintain our Clients, Clent and Contractor best practice working relationships.
