Cargo Assistant

Reporting To: The Supervisor On Duty (Airside), dnata
• Work in a department called ITT (Inter Terminal Warehouse Transfer), sending and receiving cargo from various terminals.
• Receive and check bill of entries, invoices, instructions for dispatch of goods(IDG) and Calogi booking for various shipping clients
• Respond to customers enquiries on various consignments status through the company’s outlook mailing system.
• Dispatch and relocation of shipments using DACS+ (company system).
• Handle flight Build Up both as a staff and operator of various flights.
• Breakdown of cargo from incoming flights by relocating them in the warehouses locations.
• Accepting cargo from the various cargo agents by issuing label bar code for various shipments, taking their weights, dimensions and also Police screening.
• Organize assigned operator(s) and porters in my work station.
• Updating of cargo Build Up and Break Down in the system(DACS+)
