1. Preparation of Basic design to development of Detailed Engineering drawings of hot/cold rolled steel structures from preliminary concepts, design sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data. Development of connection details.
2. Preparation of General arrangement drawings, Shop and fabrication drawings, Sub-assembly drawings, As-built drawings, Cut lists, Plate developments, Plating/Grating layouts, Hand railings, Nesting plans, etc. Ensures correct seam orientation and prepares rolling packages.
3. Prepares Input for Control sheets, detailed Material takeoffs (MTO); Ensures and verify that all works to be performed conforms to job specifications, design data, guidelines and company procedures. Complete documentation packages.
4. Performs 3D modeling and detailing in TEKLA of steel structures based from Structural/Architectural drawings, preliminary concepts and sketches to detailed engineering drawings, like jackets, deck legs, topsides, columns, braces, appurtenances and other components as required for visualization and production; Create Shop and Fabrication drawings from the model. Determine design conflicts/clashes utilizing the TEKLA as tools.
5. Reviews and checks the work of other designers/draftsmen to ensure accuracy and correctness of their work prior to their formal issue for construction. Supervise and train other technologists, technicians and drafters
6. Ensure that the company quality system and client's design and drafting procedure are maintained to produce a high quality and professional type output from the drafting office.
- Completing fabrication drawings for steel construction using Tekla Structures 3D Xsteel and AutoCAD:
- Consulting with architects and engineers to adjust and improve designs.
- Leading projects to facilitate timely completion of drawings
- Co-operating with production and supply chain, to make sure drawing arrived with the customer in a timely fashion.
- Assuring the correct additional files i.e. assembly list, CNC files were included with dispatched drawings.
- Responsible for bolts and cladding list.
- Liase with Construction Company to aid their understanding of general arrangement.
- First point of contract for all enquiries/queries in relation to drawings.
- Modifications of piping layout for the existing plant according to the site conditions

-Preparation & Drafting of isometric detail drawings with bill of materials.

- Modeling of piping systems using PDMS with reference to P&ID and project standards considering safety, operability, economy and constructability
