Executing, controlling and coordinating the entire structural steel activities in fabrication shop in a proficient manner.
Referring project contracts thoroughly for determining scope, duration and for preparing project schedule.
Responsible for fabrication, painting & dispatching the materials to the erection site with specified quality and within the schedule.
Preparation of Invoices for all the production activities as per quotations and submission along with backup documents.
Quantification of variations as per revised drawings / specification and follow-up with Main Contracts / Project Managers for Site Work Instruction. (SWI).
Interacting with clients, technical personnel and other departments for technical clarifications, routine meetings etc.
Coordinating with supervisors for achieving the scheduled target.
Studying, identifying & providing solutions for engineering issues in design or execution documents.
Conducting meeting together with section staff and the section head to discuss the effective implementation of the plan and methods for improving the production.
Assisting supervisors to ensure quality policies and procedures complying with Project standards and specifications and also to raise RFIs.
Provide and maintain all backup documentation required for substations of claims / invoices.
Assisted in preparation and submission of structural steel ‘as-built’ drawings (AUTO CAD drawings) to the client. Analyzing the feasibility of design drawings and reporting to the Superior Officers.
Preparation, development and review of project Health and Safety plans and risk assessments. Ensuring all operations is undertaken in a safely manner in accordance with Company HSE policy.
•Executed production operations in coordination with the other functions; led the team of 40 members.
•Managed the workmen for achieving the periodic production targets.
•Inspect cutting and grinding of jobs before reaching the forge shop.
•Explain forge drawings, process sheet to workforce.
•Coordinate with quality assurance, die production, maintenance teams & testing with various standards for dispatching.
