Currently working in Mavericks International Schools, as homeroom and Math teacher for Years 1 and 2. My responsibilities include providing students progressive environment for development, curriculum / lesson planning and development, innovative resource design and acquisition, providing a rich differentiated medium for student’s learning, running educational stations, continuously observing and assessing students’ academic and behavioral progress, documentation and reporting as well as integrating mindfulness into students daily routine through cohesive learning activities and dedicated scheduled practices. (2017-2018)
Meeting the British curriculum national objectives through center-based activities and inquiry-based learning. Reflecting multiple intelligence methods and scaffolding through levels of understanding. Mindfulness integration across the curriculum. Teacher training and orientation as part of an integration plan across the board.
Creating a hand crafted classroom environment with interactive walls to stimulate children’s ability to learn and develop. Enhancing children’s creativity and critical thinking skills. Certified by the FIG. Acquired many international certificates in coaching which required training in child psychology, first aid, sports injuries and nutrition.
