1) LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Contact business units to develop Training Needs and Engagement Analysis, consolidate and analyze the results to suggest the required training programs.
- Supervise the development of Personal Development Plan for each employee to enable staff members improve their performance, career progression and career management in overall.
- Assist with determining and implementing Learning and Development strategies to enhance organization performance.
- Secure online and portable learning resources to satisfy adequate innovative ways of learning.
- Supervise and evaluate the delivery of training programs through the annual training calendar or ad-hoc requests.
- Amend and revise the objectives, policies and procedures of the training programs as necessary to reflect any changes of the work requirement in the university.
2) PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Coordinate and administer the performance management cycle for administrative staff across the university.
- Assist the management team and employees in setting and establishing the objectives and KPIs to ensure that they are business-based and SMART.
- Provide mentoring support and promote a performance culture to deans and line managers through effective utilization of tools and resources, during the talent management process as needed; answer any queries related to the policy or the process.
- Receive appeals of grievances related to the performance management cycle and treat them in confidential manner to protect the privacy of employees.
- Manage and maintain recruitment life cycle (posting, screening, shortlisting, interviewing and offering).
- Participate in talent mapping and setting strategic plans for recruiting talents and ensure its implementation.
- Maintain university’s headcount, budgeted positions and compare it with approved organization chart.
- Establish and maintain active relationships with relevant governmental and private institutions with regards to recruit:
- The UAE nationals and supporting Emiratization.
- Fresh graduates from higher institutions of learning in the UAE.
- Interview candidates as a panel member and submit recommendation with appropriate assessments.
- Identify right candidates with required skillset, experience and make sure that it should match with the requirement as per job responsibilities.
- Conduct degree verification and reference check processes for the successful applicants, negotiate benefits and prepare employment offer letters.
- Prepare regret letters for all unsuccessful interviewed candidates.
- Manage logistics to ensure smooth on-boarding, design and conduct employee orientation programs, explain corporation university’s policies, procedures, and reward management system.
- Collect required data from deans and line managers to set job analysis and Job description for new positions.
- Update and develop current job description.
- Good knowledge in applying work permit approval, residence visa and other related works.
- Provide support to deans and managers for talent acquisition process at the university.
- Conduct regular meetings with deans and managers to update the progress of talent acquisition and resolve/escalate any issues.
- Hands in planning and implementing departments’ projects.
Coordinate with colleges and departments to conduct Training Needs Analysis.
- Handle the annual training calendar (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation).
- Assist in prepare annual training budget and calendar.
- Responsible of probation period to all newly hired employees.
* Handling all administrative tasks.
* Handling purchasing.
* Handles HR and Training inquires and acting on them to service the university employees.
* Standardize all HR and training policies.
* Participating in projects carried in HR Department.
- Evaluate existing computer systems, hardware & performs systems upgrades.
- Test new systems software, hardware, resolves configuration conflicts & errors.
- Reviews processes problem reports, documents the progress of projects, trains
- Students & supervises students & staff (both Academic & Admin.) as appropriate.
- Provide training to clients in the use of systems & applications as related to I.T works.
- Setting up new users' accounts, profiles & dealing with password issues.
-Testing & evaluating new technologies.
Assists students in the lab by demonstrating the proper use of
the equipment & how to use hardware-software tools.
Provides hardware-software support in laboratory.
Supervision of lab equipment & facilities, keeping and records Maintains catalog on software & hardware, diagnose & repair computer equipment.
Arranges for repair, maintains inventory of computer software and hardware.
