Responsible for implementation of WPS as per client requirement. Witness fit-up and visual welding joints as per ISO construction drawing. Ensuring correct material used. Witnessing WQT for welders for the project.Submission of WPQ & Welder ID Cards for the qualified welders.Preparation of baking & holding electrodes log record.Submission of RT Request for the daily joints.

Update daily welding report. Check internal cleaning to the spoolConduct and monitor visual inspection and NDT (PT/RT/MPI/PWHT) require on project to check confirm access to standard and specification Monitor and witness hydro testing done at site. Perform receiving inspection on welding consumable and maintain the consumables batch reports.Conduct surveillance on performance of welders in compliance with quality program and WPS such as checking WPS parameters including preheat, filler metals.Monitor welding NDE percentages, welder rejection rate and non-conformance status and report.Witness & Monitoring of Bolt Tightening activities on Piping.Witness & Monitor post-hydro activities that include reinstatement.Monitoring the performance of Contractor welder’s.Verify welder qualifications for new welders, review their welder qualification cards.Welding Inspection of Piping, Pipeline, Tie-In & Repair Weld.Material receiving inspection for welding materials and related consumables to ensure their type, size, condition and storage.Conduct and monitor visual inspection.Perform Inspection at various stages of Construction that include.Take part in the Weekly Progress Meetings and Quality Meetings. Filling out Inspection check sheets for all random inspections performed.Monitoring Welding Activities as per WPS and Quality System procedure.Inspection of final welding, preparing welding reports, Checking Test Packs documents.Monitor & Control pre heat/inter pass temperatures, PWHT as per approved WPS.
