Government Organisation responsible for framing Social Housing Policies & Implementing Housing Projects. More than 500 personnel from areas as diverse as Engineering, Architecture, Town Planner, Urban Planner, Economists & Financial Experts cater to daily functioning of the Ministry.


 Economic & Financial Trends of the Kingdom of Bahrain:
Analysing the Economic Fundamentals of the Kingdom of Bahrain like GDP, Inflation, International Trade & Government Revenues. Analysis of the Infrastructure Scenario of Bahrain namely Roads, Air/Sea Cargo, Electricity, Water Supply & Sewerage.
 Estimation of Demand / Supply for Housing Sector:
Demand side is estimated by forecasting Population, Income, Housing Units Requirement, Population Per Household, Housing preference & general existence of Culture & Trends in the society. On the other hand supply is estimated by analysing the current housing sites under construction & the Annual Average Housing Units built.
 Estimation of Infrastructure & Utilities Requirements:
Forecasting Utilities requirement for Al Madina Al Shamaliya (AMAS) Township Project through the Current Population Census Figures & Estimates.
 Policy Recommendations to the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain on Housing Infrastructure:
Providing policy guidelines related to the type & number of houses to be built. This was based on estimation of population densities, general population trends & per unit housing population. Furthermore policy recommendations were also provided to the Ministry of Housing, Kingdom of Bahrain on type of investments \[Government Investment / Privatisation / Public - Private Partnership (PPP)\] in housing projects & their related merits & challenges.
 Recommendations regarding Feasibility of Infrastructure Projects:
Providing general guidance on Economic Feasibility of Infrastructure Projects like Utilities, Roads, Electricity & Sewerage.
 Investment evaluation of Housing Projects through Public - Private Partnership (PPP) mode:
Evaluation of Investment Proposals for Housing Projects through the assessment of Economics & Financials of the Project & Resource & Materials requirement necessary for project implementation.
 Representing MOH on Contract Negotiations with the Consultant:
Was a part of the Government that carried out post-tender negotiations with the PPP bidder.
• Analysing Regulatory Framework for Housing Projects:
Analysis of the Risk / Reward Sharing Mechanism between the Government & Private Entity for Housing Projects.
 Project Management & Administration:
Project Management & Administration involved Material & Resource Management, Management of the Site Contractor for Deliverables & Human Resource Management.
• Analysis of Land Infrastructure
• Survey & Analysis of Physical Status of Housing Units at Isa Town, Kingdom of Bahrain.
• Analysis of Human Resources at Ministry of Housing
• Analysis of Housing Relocation Cost

Achievements:
Contribution towards the development of township on the basis of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) wherein both the Government & Private Party can divide OR share risks & are liable for returns accordingly.

Awarded as the best performer for my contribution towards the preparation of the Housing Policy 2012 for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Around 500 Professionals that comprise Economists, Financial Experts, and Legal Experts work for the betterment of the Chamber.


* Economic Data Analysis & Forecasting:
Analysing the Fundamentals of the Indian Economy like GDP, Inflation, International Trade & Currency Fluctuations & Government Revenues. Analysis of the Infrastructure Scenario of India namely Roads, Airports, Seaports, Electricity & Water Supply. Analysis of the Merits & Limitations of the Union Budget 2008.
 Advise on Policies related to Infrastructure with the Central & State Governments of India on behalf of the Chamber
Carry out policy analysis on Infrastructure Requirements related to increase in supply & promotion of efficiency. This was achieved through investment analysis of Privatisation & Public - Private Partnerships (PPP). Sector specific analysis of issues were also considered to accomplish the results.
 Preparing Representations in the form of Research notes / presentations to the Central & State Governments of India on Economic Issues
On the basis of the above analysis on Indian Economy in general & Infrastructure in particular to prepare Representations to Central / State Governments of India.
 Policy Recommendations on behalf of the Chamber to promote Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) in India
Recommendations to promote FDI in India through ‘International Conference’ organised by the Chamber to celebrate its Centenary Year. Around 500 delegates representing more than 15 countries participated in the deliberations. The Recommendation forwarded to the Government of India was the outcome of a survey on Political / Investment / Economic climate of India.
 Organising Seminars & Conferences
Part of a team for organising Seminars & Conferences on varied Economic aspects to promote Economic Growth & Development.

Achievements: Part of a team involved in Preparation of a Report submitted to the Government of India on Measures to Improve Foreign Direct Investments. This was the part of Centenary Celebrations for IMC.
This report was prepared on the basis of a Conference wherein Prominent Overseas Government Officials gave presentations on their perceptions of India Growth Story & Measures to take it Ahead.

Reason for leaving: Willing to explore International Research & Consulting opportunity to plan the Economics & Financials of Housing & Primary Infrastructure Projects.
This was to help in getting knowledge about other countries Government functioning & the associated Infrastructure Regulation set up.
