Master Thesis titled "Optimizing the Deployment of Charging Roads'': designs and assesses different plans for the deployment of charging roads based on road usage in metropolitan cities.
Working on several topics about Social Networks Analysis. The projects are
- Density-Based Spatio--Textual Clustering on Social Media: develops a method for estimating social area-of-interest using density-based spatial and textual clustering on social media data. Our algorithm outperforms state-of-the-art DBSCAN algorithm by up to 60% in terms of our proposed performance metric.
- Representation Learning - Link Prediction in Partially Observable Social Networks: learns a low-dimensional representation of large social networks and applies to the task of predicting missing links between users in the networks. Our algorithm surpasses the popular `node2vec' algorithm by 3% in terms of ROC AUC score.
- Analysis of Signal Strength Indicator in Wireless Sensor Networks: analyzes and examines patterns in the signals received from a sensor network installed in an apartment to improve the energy efficiency of the network. This is an overseas joint research program with Professor Koji Ishibashi's lab at the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan.
