• Create range of perfumery products based on price, category for newly launched retail business.

• Draw up development plan based on the new brief and updates supplied by the Management/Customers.
• Interpret briefs ensuring innovative and technologically competent solutions are in line with the project brief, customer expectations, operational constraints and commercial needs.
• Prepare Concepts, Design & Develop new Products & Components - EDP, EDT, Body Perfume & Deodorant Gas/No Gas, Airfreshener, Face Wash, Soaps etc.
• Manage Graphic, PD & Fragrance development team.
• Prepare product costing, estimation sheet.
• Manages product development cycle (e.g., timelines, pricing, vendor selection domestic and overseas).
• Develop & handle new suppliers, component inquiry and price negotiations.
• Handle queries/problems related to new product development & resolve escalations.

• Manage vendors (fragrance, bottle, cap, packaging etc) and obtain information on new developments.

• Played active role in setting up of a new perfume manufacturing facility in Dubai.

• Regular visit to branded retail shop, malls, exhibitions, website checking, market research in order to seek information, inspiration and to keep up knowledge about the latest trend and fashion prevailing in market & to apply them to new products to meet the challenge of competition.

- Handling independently the entire manufacturing related activity.
- Carry out projects for new product development, implementation, production start up and localization of products in close co-ordination with Project Head at France Headquarter.
- Identify and development of new vendors.
- Sourcing, developing and procurement of various packaging material locally such as printed duplex boxes, cartons, BOPP pouches, etc.
- Production planning in close co-ordination with Contract manufacturers.
- Responsible for total quality control as per training and system received from France Headquarter.
- Providing technical guidance, support and also development of special purpose machinery to boost productivity and to improve quality of the product.
- Reporting directly to Manager Manufacturing EEMEA at France Headquarter and also making communication via e-mail on daily basis to various departments such as manufacturing, quality and logistics in matters related to production, quality of the product and dispatches.
- Visit to France Headquarters for Quality Control training and also visited Shanghai - China in process of procurement of machineries.
- Localization and development of components by providing technical support to the vendors.
- Interaction and Co-operation with Development Dept. on matters related to component development.
- Identify and develop vendors based on quality, cost and capacity.

- Co-ordination on regular basis between product designers and mould manufacturers until final approval of the product.
- Follow-up, preparation of progress report of moulds etc.
- Preparation of mould correction and inspection reports for various plastic components.
- Inspection of moulds being manufactured and rectified by various manufactures and follow-up on daily basis.
- Mould trials and preparation of reports etc.
